I love pai

ok ok so after finishing my travels with my travel buddy tee, very cool and helpfull, cheersmate, i heard alot about a place called pai in northern thailand. went there on my own, first time being alone for ages and planned to stay for 4 days!!!
met jo, amy and katie on the minibus on the way up, they let me tag along and check out a cool place they heard of to stay, Mr Jans. it was cool so i checked in. spent the frst 5 days checking out the sites and hanging out with the girls plus steve who we met the first night at apple pai internet cafe/movie house/ bar/restaurant.
went to the elephant camp to volunteer with the girls, didnt have to help that much just fed the elepants and learnt some commands in thai, plus we got to trek with the elephants and on the second day i got to ride the elephant bare back with the girls! the best bit was playing with the elephants in the water, it was like an elephant rodeo trying to hang on! very cool and funny, especially as jo and amy's pants ripped or fell off completely! sorry girls had to put that in, still makes me laugh!
plus got a dvd of it so will be watching that when i get back!
anyway the girls had to leave and i decided to stay, in the end for a month!!!!
met loads of cool travellers and thai people, plus i liked the place as you could do what you wanted, chill out, get drunk, or go sightseeing and getting lost on a moped, that was pretty cool!
