katherine, daly waters, devils marbles, uluru, ulgas and kings canyon
thehot springs in katherine, not actually hot, as the temperature out of the water was hotter!

canoeing down the katherine gorge with sophie, great fun, bit trying but a different way to see another nice gorge!

as the car was in for repair we decided to go for the walk around the river in katherine stopping off at a river for a quick dip before heading back along the river, spotting abbo's and loads of bats!!!

on the road again after 9 days in katherine, managed to use my time there reading, swimming and checking emails in town every day!
finally on the road again down through the centre we stopped off at daly waters pub which had underwear all over the walls as well as other id cards flags etc..

next stop was the devils marbles

getting to uluru(ayers rock) we stayed for a few days, managed to walk the 9km base walk, see uluru in the sun and rain which was cool with all the waterfalls! but didnt see the sunrise or sunsets for both days due to clouds! plus the climb was only open once when we were there but we were on the base walk, all the other times it was closed due to the weather!!!!

next upwere the ulgas, all 36 of the 'many heads', great walk through the ulgas with panoramic views andhigh viewpoints along the way!!

below is a pic of uluru in the morning at sunrise, obviousely the sun was hidig behind the clouds still!!! oh well it was still a great place!

below is one of the many 'wicked' rental vans, each having a different spray job, this one in paerticular about qantas!

finally the kings canyon, last but not least of the sights i was to see with dennis and ceciel, hard stepped climb up to the top level of the canyon then a rim walk arond with views into gorge and landscape views either side!!
